A Nigerian female activist Sonia Obi-Okodo recently came out to talk about how she was abused when she was five years old by her father's half-brother. According to her, this half-uncle molested her and kept her quiet by saying that she would grow stronger due to what he did to her.
In light of her heartbreaking revelation, Sonia's husband Elochukwu Jude Okodo has come out to tell his own side of the story. On his Facebook page, he shared a post in which he revealed how the molestation experienced by his wife affected him gravely.
According to him, he nearly lost his job because he kept getting distracted due to the trauma his wife was going through. Jude Okodo pointed out that his wife actually went through a lot of pain and fire in the process of healing from the scars inflicted by her traumatic childhood experience.

Even more, the husband who is very happy that his wife has finally come out to speak her truth said that he is very proud of her. He praised her and called her his diamond. He also thanked all those who stood by his family when things were rough.
