Solskjaer told by Simon Jordan that he isn't 'right boss' for Manchester United

- Solskjaer has been told by Simon Jordan that he can't take Manchester United back to the top

- This comes after Manchester United were defeated 2-1 by Crystal Palace in the Premier League

- After three games played this season in the EPL, Manchester United have garnered four points

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has made it clear that he does not believe that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can operate at the required level that is expected from a Man United coach.

Last year when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Mourinho at Old Trafford, he started well, as he went some games unbeaten but United ended up without a trophy.

The Red Devils even failed to make the top four finish at the end of last Premier League campaign and will not play in the 2019/20 Champions League.

However, Manchester United started their campaign this season in the Premier League with a comfortable victory over rivals Chelsea.

United's fans were happy for how Solskjaer and his soldiers started the new season in England.

But things turned sour for the Red Devils in their next two games drawing against Wolves and also losing their last game at home against Crystal Palace.

Simon Jordan has now explained that Crystal Palace won the game because they didn't fear United unlike in the days of Sir Alex Ferguson.

''If you look at the manner in which Man United are playing, I’m sorry because I know Man United fans will start yelling and screaming, but up to 60 minutes against Chelsea they were getting bossed.

“Chelsea were the better side in that game by a long way and nobody could see anybody other than Chelsea scoring goals.

“But also, there was this figure at the very head of Manchester United as a football operation, which was Sir Alex Ferguson.

“Are you seriously saying to me that the serious times of Man United, with Liverpool and Man City disappearing into the horizon, that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is going to operate at the level that is required? I don’t think so!” he told TalkSPORT according to UK Mirror.
