Speaking after the match, the youngster admitted Chelsea knew it was going to be difficult playing against Norwich, but revealed the team's talk at the interval inspired them to victory.

"We knew coming here it wasn’t going to be easy I’ve played against Norwich here, it’s always tough," he told BT Sport.
"We came in in the dressing room and said there are going to be more chances, just stay in the game, be patient and defend well and we’ll get another goal," the England U-21 disclosed.

The victory was Frank Lampard's first in the Premier League since succeeding Maurizio Sarri as manager in the summer.
