It is no news that Nigerian music is beginning to gain worldwide recognition. From winning international awards to getting featured on international music works, it just keeps getting better.
However, it gets pretty interesting when a former US president acknowledges the beauty of Nigerian afrobeats and that's exactly what Barack Obama has done.
He recently took to his Instagram page to share his summer playlist for the year 2019. The playlist which comprises 44 songs featured fast rising act, Rema's song, Iron Man sitting pretty at number 42.

Still on Rema, the fast-rising star of Mavin Records, was recently spotted making the crowd go wild during a performance in Port Harcourt.
The Dumebi crooner was spotted performing for the students of the University of Port Harcourt (Uniport). The singer wowed the crowd after he brought a female student on stage and started rocking her. The two seemed to be in sync as they both moved to the beat.
