Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai has met with a group of young talented filmmakers from Kaduna state who rely solely on their low-cost smartphone and YouTube tutorials to make sci-fi short clips.
The twitter handle of the governor of the state made this known on Thursday, August 15, with pictures showing members of the group meeting with the governor and some state's officials.
El-Rufai also praised their creativity and offered government's support, saying his administration is working details with the team's families.
According to Kaduna government, the youngest of the group, 8-year-old Rachael Yusuff, will be starting secondary school in a few weeks from the meeting, most probably when the 2019 summer holiday ends.
Recall that Legit.ng earlier reported about the amazing activities of the group and how they create entertaining short films with a smartphone and props made out of discarded items.
For instance, their earlier tripod was made out of a broken microphone stand and their basic green screen; a green cotton sheet that could have just been another thrown-away thing in the house.

However, a little luck shined on them when they were able to raise some funds to buy themselves primary items for their production.
These items include faster computers, some lighting stands, an average shooting camera, microphone and other props their almost $6,000 raised funds could cover.
