- Jorginho is hoping he can change Chelsea fans with his performances this season
- The midfielder joined Blues last summer from Napoli in a long term deal
- The Italian star claims he doesn't like being referred to as Sarri's boy and will work hard to change that
Chelsea star Jorginho has insisted that he is not pleased being referred to as someone who works with former manager Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian midfielder arrived Stamford Bridge alongside the 60-year-old tactician in the summer of 2018 - having earlier worked together at Napoli before joining the Premier League side.
Despite helping the team win Europa League title last season, the 27-year-old has been labeled Sarri's boy and the player says he wants to be addressed as a Chelsea player.

Jorginho, who was also impressive for the Blues in their Super Cup defeat to Liverpool in Istanbul this week vows to work hard to earn the respect of the club's fans.
He toldf Esporte Interativo that: "I was a little sad seeing people thinking I arrived here only because of [Sarri]. I arrived here because of my hard work, my day to day work, my sacrifices."
Jorginho made 37 Premier League appearances in his debut season - scoring twice in the process and helped the team finish third on the log.
The midfielder was also an integral part of 'Sarri-ball,' but he did not impress the supporters during the 2018-19 season.

He continued: "It's a challenge for me to show the fans that thanks to my work it's why I got here,'
"I want to take this opportunity to have a good season and also for my name to be recognised by Jorginho who plays for Chelsea, not Jorginho who only works with Sarri."
He has now proved he can play outside of Sarri's system and Chelsea fans will be hoping for more good performances this season, especially following their opening 4-0 defeat to Manchester United.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Liverpool are the champions of the UEFA Super Cup following their 5-4 victory over Chelsea at the Vodafone Arena in Istanbul.
The two teams failed to outscore either side after playing 2-2 in 120 minutes before deciding the match on penalties.
Sadio Mane scored twice while a goal each from Olivier Giroud and Jorginho ensured the match was decided with spot kicks.
