Naby Keita, Liverpool midfielder, could not complete the Reds training session ahead of their UEFA Super Cup clash against Chelsea.
According to Metro report, Keita was forced to bow out during a shooting drill after a warm-up with Liverpool teammates.
The incident occurred at Besiktas’ stadium in Turkey on Tuesday evening, August 13, as Jurgen Klopp tutored-side were rounding off preparations.
The 24-year-old Keita was captured on camera speaking with Liverpool’s head physio Lee Nobes as he made his way to the tunnel for treatment shaking his right leg.
Interestingly, Keita also suffered a thigh injury during Guinea’s campaign at 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, but featured for Liverpool for 23 minutes against Man City in the Community Shield earlier this August.

Keita was an unused sub during Liverpool’s Premier League opener against Norwich City on Friday.
Legit.ng reported earlier that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that first choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker will miss the club's Super Cup encounter against Chelsea on Wednesday, August 14.
This comes after the Brazilian goalkeeper suffered an injury in Liverpool's Premier League 4-1 win against Norwich City on Friday, August 9.
