African dancers are definitely energetic and interesting to watch. They dance with their bodies held stiff and shuffle their legs like they are in a choir.
I mean, that is the age old African way of dancing. At least for the older generation.
A Ugandan musician seemed to have forgotten this simple concept and left the country’s Vice President mesmerized on the dance floor during a function.
It all started when the female singer approached dignitaries armed with her microphone and an oddly flexible waist.
Then, as people watched, she whined and twisted her body like a snake as the state’s deputy watched in complete shock.
Guys, she even twerked!
Edward Ssekandi the VP who was quietly glued to his seat kept contemplating his next moves as he shyly flashed a smile at the daring singer.
Earlier on, the musician had first approached a lady who was seated a few metres away from Edward and the two actually hit the floor together like a bunch of wild revelers.
However Edward did not have the strength or courage to shake his body like the very confident singer.
The poor man even looked like he was about to break a sweat and wished the whole charade would end sooner than later.
It all went down at Jinja, Uganda during International Youth Day celebrations.
Just recently, Legit.ng reported that a church warned its choir member to stop a particular dance style that they deemed unholy for the place of God.
The church identified as a branch of the First Baptist Church in Agbede, area of Edo state released the statement to warn a choir member.
It was said that the choir member was seen dancing a move that was not deemed as something that glorified God during a worship service. The church advised the choir member to stop her style of dancing.
