David Luiz has been described as defensively worse that Arsenal flop Shkodran Mustafi, statistics claim.
The Gunners signed the 32-year-old after Blues boss Frank Lampard told him he is not guaranteed of a starting place in Chelsea's squad.
But according to the numbers, Luiz is actually worse than German defender Mustafi in terms of facts recently discovered.
Arsenal fans have been hoping the Germany international will be sold this summer, with Ligue 1 side, Monaco showing interest.
But now, they may want to reconsider after new discovery reveal that Mustafi has been performing better than the newly acquired Luiz.

He played fewer matches lasted season, but boasted more tackles, interceptions, aerial battles won and duels won. But Luiz only bettered Mustafi in successful passes per 90 minutes.
Incredibly, Mustafi also boasted better stats than team-mate Sokratis Papastathopoulos too, as well as targets Daniele Rugani and Dayot Upamecano.
Mustafi topped the players mentioned in tackles per game, interceptions and aerial duels won - while also appearing to perform better than Man United's new signing Harry Maguire.
