Belgium international Romelu Lukaku has finally joined Italian League giants Inter Milan from Manchester United this summer.

The 26-year-old striker sealed a move away from Old Trafford in a deal valued around £73 million on transfer deadline day in England.

Lukaku joined the Red Devils in 2017 from Everton in a deal around £75m but decided to leave the club after losing his starting spot to Marcus Rashford.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup bronze winning striker was said to have traveled to Milan over the night to complete his medical at the Humanitas Research Hospital earlier on Thursday.

Lukaku’s agent Federico Pastorello posted a picture of himself and his client on social media in a private jet at Brussels Airport with the caption "Ready to take off…direction Milan.

It would be recalled that the 26-year-old forward has been training with Anderlecht after refusing to re-join his Man United teammates ahead of their Premier League opener against Chelsea.

The deal is however Inter Milan's record signing with new manager Antonio Conte hell bent on landing him.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo seems to have completed a permanent move to Spanish football giants Leganes from Premier League side Chelsea.

According to the latest report by Marca, Dimitris Siovas who plays as a defender for Leganes confirmed the information that Kenneth Omeruo has signed for the club.

The report added that Omeruo will sign a contract until 2024 and Leganes are expected to pay Chelsea a transfer fee in the region of 4.5 million euros.
