Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly ready to submit a deadline bid for Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams as replacement for Romelu Lukaku.

Belgium international Romelu Lukaku is on the verge of joining Inter Milan and United are now looking for a good replacement before the transfer window closes.

And if Manchester United want the signature of Inaki Williams, then the Red Devils will have to meet the 25-year-old £81 million release clause at the Spanish side.

According to UK Sun citing El Chiringuito TV, Inaki Williams has been sounded out by Manchester United chiefs and are impressed with his form in La Liga.

Last season in the Spanish La Liga, Inaki Williams scored 14 goals in 41 appearances and became feared for his rapid pace.

Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku could be fined a maximum of two weeks’ wages for going AWOL and his social media post will result in a smaller punishment.

Williams on the other hand was playing youth football with local CD Pamplona when he was spotted by Athletic Bilbao who signed him to their youth setup at Lezama at the age of 18.

Earlier, had reported how Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku is staring at a possible fine of two-week wages after going AWOL in an attempt to force a summer exit.
