First Lady of Lagos state, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, and wife of the deputy governor, Oluremi Hamzat, recently got appointed as the state patron and grand patron of the Nigeria Girl Guides Association.
During the induction ceremony held at the Lagos House, Alausa, Ikeja, on Tuesday, August 6, the duo wore the blue and white uniform normally identified with the association.
In their girl guides' uniforms, the duo performed the traditional salute of the association and got sworn in as state patron and grand patron.
They received certificates signalling their installation as senior executives of the Nigeria Girl Guides Association. Photos from the privately held ceremony were shared on Facebook by the Lagos state government.
