Ali Baba reveals he was disowned by father for delving into stand-up comedy

Popular Nigerian comedian Ali Baba recently used his social media platform to bare his mind on the career choices of certain individuals and happenings in the country.

The veteran entertainer started off by giving a recount of his experience when he ventured into telling jokes for a living, in the year 1988.

According to him, his father at the time had disowned him because he did not see any viable future in the career path he had chosen.

Ali Baba explained he usually revisits the past and remembers how people had tried to discourage him, especially those who held the opinion that taking white collar jobs is the only way to become successful.
