- Leroy Sane remains a top target for Bayern Munich this summer
- The German champions are hoping to sign him as replacement for Robben and Ribery
- Man City have however placed £145m price tag on the winger
Manchester City have reportedly slapped a staggering £145 million price tag on star winger Leroy Sane amid Bayern Munich's interest.
The German League champions are hopeful of landing the 23-year-old before the end of this transfer window after the departure of both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery last season.
Although, it is clear that the Premier League champions are not ready to allow their man leave anytime soon, the Bavarians are however not giving up on the player's chase.
According to the Sun, the Etihad Stadium outfit are said to have sent an angry letter to the Allianz Arena side following their public courting of the winger.
And this has made the club's chief Karl Heinz Rummenigge and other members of the team apologise a number of times to the EPL side.
Meanwhile, City might allow the winger leave if they get an offer around £135-£145 million for the star - listing him among top three of the most expensive transfers ever.
The Sun reports that Sane seems to be considering to return back home, but his club are yet to hear anything from the player.
Sane joined Man City from FC Schalke 04 in a deal valued around €50.5 million and his current deal with the EPL side runs until the summer of 2021.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Claude Makelele has landed new appointment at Chelsea after being named the club's new young player technical mentor.
The Blues legend will join a host of other former stars at Stamford Bridge as part of the coaching structure of the club.
According to Goal, the Frenchman will resume his position this week after stepping down as manager of Belgian side, Kas Eupen last season.
