Oghenekaro Etebo accused by a Nigerian man of abandoning Delta state for Lagos

- The aggrieved man also warned the Super Eagles star not to come back to Warri if he later finds himself in trouble

- Etebo who currently plays for English club Stoke City won bronze medal with Nigeria at AFCON 2019

An unnamed Nigerian man from Warri in Delta state has angrily blasted Super Eagles star Oghenekaro Etebo for reportedly abandoning Delta state for Lagos.

In a video which is currently trending on social media, the aggrieved man accused Super Eagles star Etebo of not going back to Warri after becoming famous.

The man is disturbed on the reason 23-year-old Oghenekaro Etebo has now chosen to be staying in Lagos anytime he comes to Nigeria.

He alleged that Etebo has also refused to check on his former club Warri Wolves where he played last for three years before making it to Europe.

While expressing his annoyance, the man also accused Etebo of deliberately missing some of his close friends wedding in Warri despite being around.

And while concluding his message to Etebo, he made it clear that the player should not think of coming back to the city of Warri again if any trouble happens to him in future.

Oghenekaro Etebo was among the Super Eagles players who played for Nigeria at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt and won bronze medal.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Gernot Rohr who is the gaffer of Nigeria's Super Eagles named four of his players who impressed him at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Nigeria were defeated 2-1 by Algeria in the semifinal encounter, but the Super Eagles went on to win bronze beating Tunisia 1-0 in the third place match.

Rohr has now named Samuel Chukwueze, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi and Oghenekaro Etebo as four players who were superb for the Super Eagles in Egypt.
