Kylian Mbappe who currently plays as a striker for French club Paris-Saint-Germain has reportedly emerged as summer transfer target for EPL side Manchester City.

After winning the Premier League title last term beating Liverpool to the title on the last day, Manchester City are planning to storm Europe in the coming season.

Paris-Saint-Germain are now said to be aware of the Citizens' interest to sign Kylian Mbappe this summer and they are ready to block the move.

According to the latest report on UK Sun, Paris-Saint-Germain are ready to offer Kylian Mbappe £860,000-a-week new contract for the Frenchman to remain in Paris.

Paris-Saint-Germain believe making Kylian Mbappe their second-best paid player on the planet will convince him to stay at the club.

The French champions are said to be putting together a £45 million annual package which would see him pocket around £860k per week.

But PSG will only be able to make a good offer for Mbappe to stay if they agree to sell Brazil international Neymar back to Barcelona for them to raise more money.

Earlier, had reported how Kylian Mbappe has no intentions to extend his contract at Paris Saint-Germain beyond 2022.

The 20-year-old has a running contract at PSG which comes to an end in 2022 but it has now been gathered that Mbappe is not keen on renewing his contract even if PSG offer to pay him more. ( -> We have updated to serve you better
