Imama Amapakabo,Super Eagles assistant coach, has explained how Prophet TB Joshua prophesied on who will emerge AFCON 2019 champions ahead of Nigeria semifinal clash.

Algeria became champions on Friday night, July 19, after beating the Teranga Lions of Senegal 1-0 in the final at the Cairo International Stadium.

En route to the final, Algeria's Desert Foxes beat Super Eagles 2-1 in the semifinal, with Riyad Mahrez scoring a late free-kick to condemn Nigeria to a defeat.

Reacting to Algeria lifting the AFCON 2019 title, Imama took to the on social media to reveal that he got a message from TB Joshua before Super Eagles faced Algeria.

The former Enugu Rangers gaffer added that the Prophet made it clear that the winner of Super Eagles' encounter against Algeria will win the biennial tournament.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported Nigeria's Super Eagles wrapped up their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations campaign in Egypt with a 1-0 victory over Tunisia at Al-Salam Stadium.
