Nigerian actress Ufuoma McDermott has shared her thoughts on In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) method of conception. The movie star, who had her child through the same method, gave the advice during an interview with BBC.
During an interview with BBC News Pidgin, the actress addressed the issue of fear that many Nigerians have when it comes to conception through a scientific means. She also shared advice to mothers who might be afraid to do something different.
The actress expressed that many people are skeptical about IVF in Nigeria because they are afraid. She stated that some are afraid because it goes against their religious beliefs.

McDermott explained that the means of conception does not matter as long as a woman ends up giving birth to a healthy baby.
According to the actress, she is also someone who gave birth to her son through In-Vitro Fertilisation. She stated that her son is intelligent and fine.

The doting mother further stated that her son makes her proud. She also used the opportunity to advise women not to deprive themselves of the joy of motherhood or deprive others because they are afraid.
