Spanish champions Barcelona have reportedly asked about the possibility for them to sign Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk this summer.

Daily Mirror writer John Cross claims Barcelona made about enquiries about whether the defender could be lured away from Anfield.
But it is reported that they ended their pursuit after Van Dijk's representatives made it clear that he will not leave this summer.
Virgil Van Dijk has a contract with Liverpool which will expire in 2023, and the report added that the Reds will soon start talks for him to sign another deal.
"I think the future looks pretty bright.
"We have a fantastic team with players that want to develop, that want to give everything for the team and for the club,'' Dijk explained according to UK Sun.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk made it clear that he does not care with how he was booed in the semifinal of the Nations League against England and also final against Portugal.
Dijk was booed every time he touched the ball in the Netherlands' Nations League semi-final victory over England.
The 27-year-old was also given unpleasant treatment in the final by fans reported to be England faithfuls but he is not perturbed about such act.
