Premier League giants Everton have reportedly slammed a price tag of £25 million on RB Leipzig target Ademola Lookman this summer.
The 21-year-old joined the Toffees in 2017 from lower league outfit Charlton Athletic in a deal four and a half year deal valued at £7.5m and will rose to £11m with add-ons
He has however not been able to reach his full potentials at the Goodison Park having scored just four goals and two assists after 48 matches.
Meanwhile, after just six months at the German club on loan last season, the forward scored five goals and four assists in just 11 matches.
And the Bundesliga side are hoping they can seal a permanent deal for the England youth star of Nigerian descent according to SunSport quoting BBC.
The publication further revealed that the German club made an attempt to sign the striker from Everton last summer, but the Premier League giants were not ready to allow their man leave then.
Though, his contract with the EPL side expires in 2021, his club are now considering to cash in on the star they signed few years back for a peanut price from Charlton Athletic.
Meanwhile, Everton have insisted that they are not willing to sell the player for any price lower than the £25 million tag they placed on their player.
But, it appears Leizpig are not willing to splash that much on the forward who scored five goals after just 11 matches for them - leaving his immediate future in doubt.
The Toffees completed the signing of Andre Gomes in a £22m deal from Barcelona after his successful loan spell, while Jonas Lossl has arrived on a free transfer from relegated Huddersfield.
Coach Marco Silva is also trying hard to re-sign Kurt Zouma from Chelsea, this time permanently, as they also hoping they can lure Malcom away from Camp Nou.

The Nigerian winger has been impressive for his Spanish League side Villarreal from Diamond Academy in 2016 one year after winning FIFA U17 World Cup with Golden Eaglets.
Chukwueze, who scored his first senior national team goal at the ongoing AFCON championship said the Gunners presented an offer which his club back then rejected and that was how the deal failed.
