Mama Gee arrested by FDA for selling unauthorized medicine

- The Food and Drugs Authority in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service has arrested a woman known as Mama Gee who has been selling unauthorized herbal products

- The woman has been advertising her herbal products which she claimed can make a man fall in love with ladies who buy the product

- Mama Gee went viral recently after scores of ladies were captured trooping to her shop to buy the medicines

Herbal product seller Elizabeth Torgbor popularly known as Mama Gee has been arrested by the FDA and the police for selling what they termed as unauthorized herbal medicines.

According to the FDA, her products have not been registered under the laws of the Food and Drugs Authority.

In a statement sighted by Legit.ng, the FDA and the Ghana police confirmed the arrest of Mama Gee.

In the statement, the FDA revealed that her arrest followed an attention drawn to social media videos circulated by Mama Gee.

The FDA noted that Mama Gee claimed in her videos that she has sexual enhancers and other products which has not been licensed by their outfit.

They disclosed that she was arrested at her shop in Madina around Rawlings Park on Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

The FDA further cautioned the general public not to patronize Mama Gee's products since the claims cannot be substantiated.

They also urged the general public to provide any additional information about Mama Gee if they have any.

Mama Gee seemed to have been making waves with her herbal products until her arrest by the authorities.

She claimed that her products will make ladies find favor and be able to get gifts from men who date them.

Mama Gee alleged that her products will make women taste good in bed which will make men shower gifts on them without their asking.

Meanwhile, no one has come out to claim that the products actually work or they are just mere fabrications.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that Nigerian pastor, Tony Rapu, shared lovely transformation photos of a substance addict whom he rescued from the street.

In new photos shared by the pastor on his Instagram page, Lizzy now looks healthier and a far cry from how she was a few months back.

The pastor in his lengthy caption explained that he is dedicating the 2019 Father's Day celebration to 26-year-old Lizzy for being his spiritual daughter.
