Ousmane Dembele who plays as a winger for reigning Spanish champions Barcelona has emerged as a summer transfer target for German giants Bayern Munich.

After losing Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery at the end of last season, Bayern Munich are now looking for the signing of other wingers with interest also on Manchester City's Leroy Sane.

According to the report on Sport English, Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovac confirmed himself that his side are interested in the signing of Ousmane Dembele.

"Dembele is a great player and also Leroy Sane who could help us with his qualities as we have seen with the German national team and Man City.

"If Barça finally bring Neymar back from PSG, it could increase the possibility of reaching an agreement for Dembele," he said at the presentation of Jann-Fiete Arp.

Dembele arrived Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 and made 42 appearances in all competitions for the Catalan club during the 2018-19 season.

Despite scoring 14 goals and providing eight assists during the campaign, the France international has found himself under scrutiny.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu believes French winger Ousmane Dembele is a much better player than PSG’s Neymar.

According to the report, Bartomeu revealed during an interview with TVE in Spain, that the Frenchman is in a different class from the Brazilian star he replaced at Camp Nou.
