- Gonzalo Higuaín is snubbing a move away from Juventus to find another club this summer

- The 31-year-old recently made a return from Chelsea where he played on loan last season

- Higuain was part of the Blues squad that won the 2018/19 Europa League silverware

Ex-Chelsea forward Gonzalo Higuain is reportedly rejecting a move away from parent club Juventus.

According to UK Sun citing Sky Sports Italia, the 31, has no future at the Allianz Stadium despite the arrival of former boss Maurizio Sarri.

Bianconeri eggheads are keen on offloading Higuain, who currently pockets a massive £270,000-a-week salary, with Serie A rivals Roma among clubs reportedly in need of his services ahead of the new campaign.

Juventus plan to sort the deal as soon as possible but the Argentine is refusing to be involved in discussions.

Higuain is hopeful of convincing Sarri he can still deliver the goals despite netting just five goals in 18 games at Stamford Bridge.

The report added that Juventus are reportedly targeting a surprise offer for Inter Milan’s forward Mauro Icardi.

However, the first thing they want to achieve is to offload Higuain, ahead of a potential move for his countryman.

Two midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot have already joined Juventus on free transfers from Arsenal and PSG respectively.

Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt is also expected to complete a £70m switch to the Allianz Stadium.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Italian champions Juventus have told Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain that he is free to leave the club this summer as his services are no longer needed in Turin.

Higuain made a return to the Old Lady after the expiration of his loan spell at Premier League side Chelsea in which the Blues failed to extend his stay.

And having played under Maurizio Sarri at Napoli and Chelsea, Higuain was hoping that his working relationship with the Italian would continue at Juventus.
