The body of a Nigerian, Obasanjo Adeola Owoyale, who went missing on July 1 has been found in a car boot in north Nicosia, Cyprus.
According to KNews, the car was parked near a school while the body was discovered at about 1pm by police officers who went in the area to check after being notified that a very foul smell was coming out of the car.
The report also stated that the deceased is believed to have been killed elsewhere, then wrapped in a blanket and placed in the trunk of the vehicle.
However, police are said to be examining security camera footage in the area to see whether a suspect who left the car might have been captured on video.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that a Nigerian, Ali Abubakar who was a principal of the Cambridge language school in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, died of injuries after he was beaten by a local in the country on Tuesday, July 2.
The 34-year-old man who had a wife and two daughters, hit his head on the ground after he was punched in the face by the unknown assailant. The deceased was later rushed to the hospital for treatment.
