Nigeria vs South Africa is set to take a centre stage again with Super Eagles and Bafana Bafana rekindling old rivalry in a quarterfinal match at the ongoing AFCON 2019.
Ahead of the match, fans of both national teams have flooded social media in massive supports for their respective national teams.
At 8pm on Wednesday, July 10, Bafana Bafana will play Nigeria in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) quarter-finals.
South Africa fans are clearly hyped to see what the national team will do, and on the other side Nigerians are rooting for their team as well.
Legit.ng gathered that prior to the match, #NGARSA started trending on Twitter, with fans reacting with hilarious posts. Aside from showing their respective teams' support, fans also took shots at each other.
South Africa fans tweets poked fun at the Nigerian side with jokes about deportation and Hillbrow.
One of the those who reacted, Mr Mahlangu, who goes by the Twitter handle @SpArKsMaN_SA, commented: "Whoever loses tonight between SA n Nigeria is going home to South Africa. #NGARSA #AFCON2019."
Another tweeter, @BigVee29, added: "These Nigerians don't know #iDiski, Themba Zwane and Moses Lorch will make them chase shadows."
