Man ends it all as girlfriend dumps him for friend after he lost his job

- A Twitter user has taken to social media to share the tragic story of his friend who took his own life

- According to him, the friend was falsely accused at work and got fired after which he lost his girlfriend to his friend

- The late friend identified as Deji was a single father of a 12-year-old boy

Currently trending on social media is the heartbreaking story of a young man identified as Deji who took his own life due to some challenges in his life.

According to the story shared by @AndreFiree, Deji was fired from his job based on a false allegation. Due to his financial struggles, his girlfriend left him for his friend. Shortly after taking his own life, the truth was revealed but it was too late.

He narrated: "I think I should share this story with y’all, My friend Deji whom I’ve known for a long time committed s*icide day before yesterday. He got fired from his job because his colleague lied on him.

"His girlfriend of three years also ditched him for his friend ,just because he wasn’t financially stable anymore. It was very hard for him, this was a girl he took through school , got her the iPhone X she uses currently , he uses a Toyota Camry 2014... He begged her to hold on things would get better but she cursed him , saying he had bad luck

"He has a son, very brilliant boy who is just 12 years, I tell you all this story with tears in my eyes because this was a guy I saw build himself up and he was never the kind of guy to hurt even a fly, finally the truth came out at work and he was to be promoted with a new car.

"But he’s gone , the Md himself came to my house to look for him and when he found out Deji was dead, he couldn’t hold the tears and vowed he was going to arrest the colleague that lied on him . His son hasn’t stopped crying and his family. Don’t lay false accusations on people.

"Please don’t ever do it , you don’t know what they go through behind closed doors, Making someone bad doesn’t make yourself feel better. May you R.I.P You all are really nice, thanks for the warmth and nice words, I really appreciate. At least people still care, I hope this doesn’t happen to any of our loved ones."

While Deji seemed to have given up on life for some pretty heartbreaking reasons, there is however, no telling the length people would go to possess certain material things and this story has proven this to be true, shockingly so.

Twitter user @uncle_shamsu left many jaws hanging after he recounted how his cousin almost took her life simply because she didn't have an iPhone X even though she had an iPhone 7 plus.
