Gareth Bale was welcomed back to Real Madrid with fans reportedly booing the winger as he resumed for pre-season on Monday, July 8, with uncertainty surrounding his stay at the club.
The Mirror report claims Bale was among the early birds at the club's state-of-the-art Valdebebas training base, but he was greeted with long faces, suggesting he is no longer in the good books.
Since arriving from Tottenham in 2013, Bale has struggled to win over Los Blancos fans, with reports in Spain painting the various insults he received as he entered the complex.
Spanish daily AS, claims shouts of "ungrateful" could be heard all over from fans, but players like Dani Carvajal were hailed on arrival.
At the last count, the 29-year-old Bale has claimed four Champions League titles, since his switch from Spurs to Los Blancos for a world record fee of £89.2m in 2013.
The fans and the Spanish media have continued to slam Bale after struggling to step in for Cristiano Ronaldo following his departure to Juventus last summer.
Bale started only five games of Real Madrid's last 11 of the season and also lost first team spot under manager Zinedine Zidane.

However, Bale's agent waved off claims the Wales forward could he heading out on loan and said it would take "something exceptional" for the player to leave the Spanish capital.
He is reportedly earning about £600,000 a week – suggesting not many clubs are financially capable of signing him permanently, but his agent Jonathan Barnett insists his client is happy remaining at Madrid.
"I don't think he wants to go out on loan. He's got a lovely life and home in Spain. I think it would take something exceptional for him to leave and loans are not on the menu."
