Biodun Fatoyinbo: Pastor Adeboye speaks on COZA molestation allegation

Pastor E.A Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has broken his silence on the recent molestation allegations levelled against the founder of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Daddy G.O as the highly revered man of God is popularly called was not happy with the stain such allegations is bringing into the church of God.

Though both the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) have distanced themselves from Fatoyinbo, saying he is not their member, Adeboye speaking generally about such allegations involving men of God based his talk on the bible.

Speaking at RCCG’s monthly all night service which held at the Camp ground along Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Friday, July 5, Adeboye said the Christian body in Nigeria, CAN and PFN have their presidents respectively and that whatever they say is what he is standing by. Despite that, the cleric said he still feel compelled to say something on the trending issue.

Adeboye said his main advice is to the young and upcoming ministers of god. He said all he will say is going to be from the bible so that if they want to criticise him they will have to criticise the bible.

Legit.ng had reported the story of singer Timi Dakolo's wife, Busola Dakolo, accusing Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of molesting her at the age of 17 in her father's house when he came visiting. The mother of three in a video that has gone viral levelled the allegation on the youthful looking cleric.

It was also reported that another lady who claimed to be an ex-staff of COZA has accused Pastor Fatoyinbo of molesting her too. The woman who pleaded anonymity, narrated how she had made a usual call to the man of God’s house in other to discuss activities relating to the church and what needed to be done. She said at some point while she was seated on the couch, Fatoyinbo, whom she had always seen as a role model, joined her on the sofa and started to touch her inappropriately.
