- Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been given a £56m price tag by Arsenal amid Man United speculation

- The north London club are however facing financial constraints as they look to offload players this summer

- Arsenal are now seeking to sell their first team players including Aubameyang, Ozil others to raise funds for new signings

Premier League giants Arsenal will reportedly demand £56m for the transfer of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – which is what they paid to sign the striker from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.

The club are said to be ready to offload the prolific striker this summer to fund new signings, with the 30-year-old a rumoured target for the Red Devils after his impressive form in front of goal last season.

Aubameyang banged in 22 goals last season to share the Golden Boot with Liverpool pair Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

But the club's disappointing 2018/19 season has severely restricted Arsenal’s transfer budget this summer as the club have just £45million to spend.

They therefor need to offload several first team players to boost their funds as Unai Emery seeks to bring in new legs.

According to The Times, the Emirates outfit has already made Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, with Aubameyang now joining the growing list.

Earlier this month, Aubameyang was linked with a shock move to Manchester United, while reports in Italy claimed this he had ‘agreed’ a switch to Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Arsenal fans have reacted negatively to claims Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is willing to join Manchester United this summer.

Reports coming from Italy claim the 30-year-old striker is unsettled at the Emirates despite winning the Premier League Golden Boot award.
