Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly plotting a loan move for Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira on loan with an option of permanent deal.
According to Sky Sport report, the San Siro dwellers will table a bid in the neighbourhood of £4.5m for a two-season loan, along with a fee of around £25m to make the 23-year-old move permanent at the end of loan period.
The Uruguayan joined the Emirate dwellers from Sampdoria for £26m last summer, and was in the thick of the action in one out of four Arsenal’s EPL fixtures last season as he suffered a ban.
Reports suggest Arsenal Unai Emery is not ready to lose another central midfielder to Italian opposition after losing Aaron Ramsey to Juventus.
Interestingly, Torreira started his senior football career at Pescara, after arriving Italy as a youngster a switch to Sampdoria for less than £1m in 2016.

It is believes that Crystal Palace will not sell the 26-year-old for anything less than £80 million if he must leave them this summer.
The Gunners were also said to have tried luring him to the Emirates Stadium last season but failed to reach an agreement with Palace.
