Eden Hazard's switch to La Liga giants Real Madrid from Chelsea is still exciting Mat Ryan, Brighton goalkeeper, after he conceded four times against him in four games.

Equally, Premier League clubs will be breathing a sigh of relief since the former Chelsea playmaker sealed a record-breaking £150m switch to La Liga giants Real Madrid.

The Brighton No 1 shot-stopper is particularly happy he will not face Hazard in England anytime soon.

“I think from the four times I've faced him I haven't saved a shot from him yet,” the Australian goalie was quoted as saying to Fox Football Podcast via Daily Mail report.

“It's either been blocked, he's hit the shot off target or he's scored a goal.

“It's a bit of an annoying fact so thank god he's p****ed off somewhere else. I put in a nice word [to Real Madrid] for him,” he noted, even as he was quick that he was looking forward to face the new Bernabeu star one more time to pay him back.

“I would love to have the opportunity to face him again and stop him - that's my motivation."

Hazard sealed his dream move to Real Madrid early June, with the Spanish giants splashing out a deal worth £150m to land his services.
