Abuja-based lady shares photos of fake palm oil she bought

- A Facebook user identified as Miracle Emmanuel has shared details of her experience after buying alleged fake oil from the market

- The young lady shared a post in which she revealed that she purchased the palm oil from Mararaba market

- It was discovered upon using it that the oil was made of poisonous substance

A Nigerian lady identified as Miracle Emmanuel on Facebook has cried out after purchasing alleged fake palm oil from the market.

In a post shared on her Facebook, Emmanuel shared photos of the substance which she bought and discovered that it was not palm oil as she started cooking beans. She stated that the substance developed an alien texture and turned into something else when she rubbed it on her palm.

Miracle was however more grateful that she was observant and didn't eat the food which she prepared with the oil as it might have been dangerous to her health or worse, killed her.

Emmanuel's post immediately went viral and some social media users were glad that the substance didn't harm her. Some others advised that she reports the case to the police and make sure the person who sold her the oil is brought to book.

In like manner, a social media user recently brought the attention of her followers to a fake food item she purchased.

In her post, she shared photos of unripe tomatoes which was painted red and sold to her as ripe bunches.

Her followers reacted with many speaking against the callousness of traders.
