Premier League fixtures 2019-20: Man United in tough opener against Chelsea

- Premier League fixtures for 2019-20 season has been released with some tricky opening games

- Man United play host to Chelsea in a tough fixture at Old Trafford

- Liverpool will begin their quest for honours against Norwich

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will kick-off his first full season at Old Trafford against Chelsea on the opening day of the 2019-20 Premier League campaign.

The opener at the ‘Theater of Dreams’ will be tough one for the Red Devils, who fancy a much improved campaign, no thanks to their disappointing sixth place finish last season.

Solskjaer was handed Man United managerial job on a full time basis last season after excelling during an interim spell after Jose Mourinho’s exit.

However, Man United are expected to rebuild their squad over the summer, with the signing of Wales international Daniel James already sorted.

Despite the various changes expected at Manchester United the prospect of facing Chelsea on the opening day is already causing concern among fans fearing the worst already.
