President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, June 13, met behind closed-doors with the president of Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, President Brahim Ghali, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Nigeria on Wednesday, June 12, hosted world leaders to the inaugural June 12 Democracy Day which was celebreted at the Eagles Square, Abuja.
The details of the meeting are yet to be disclosed as at the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, President Buhari has earlier met behind closed doors the visiting Liberian president, George Weah, at the Presidential Villa.
The Liberian leader arrived the fore court of the presidential villa at about 11.35am and was received by the president.
The two leaders reportedly discussed regional and continental issues. The Liberian president, who is currently facing socio-political challenges at home, had on Wednesday, June 12, witnessed Nigeria’s Democracy Day event.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that thousands of Liberians protested against alleged failures to tackle corruption, economic mismanagement and injustice under President Weah.
