Kogi state governorship aspirant, Dino Melaye, has claimed that he is yet to print any poster to announce his ambition to rule the state.
The senator, however, appreciated the gestures of those who went out of their ways to print the posters.
"Yet to print any poster but Nigerians from all over have been producing posters. I'm grateful," Melaye wrote on his Instagram page.
However, a follower of Melaye identified as Mike pushed back, saying making such statements will not take the senator anywhere.
"You claim, Nigerians from all over, are the ones producing posters, but you're the one pushing the said posters out to the public on your own platforms? Don't they have platforms to push your posters out to the public? If truly, others are the ones producing your posters? This cheap lies won't take you anywhere," he said.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that Melaye unveiled his poster for governorship race. The governorship aspirant released the official photo on his Instagram page on Sunday, June 2.
This came shortly after the senator declared his interest to contest the Kogi governorship election scheduled for November 16. The senator made his intention known on Saturday, June 1, during a meeting of Kogi West Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) executives held at his country home in Aiyetoro Gbede, Ijumu local government area of the state.
