- According to her friend who shared the report, the lady has refused to disclose the company name because she might need their referral for her next job

- The unnamed lady’s friend has called for the help of consumer protection organisations in the country

An unnamed lady who decided not to go the negative route has reportedly been fired from her job.

According to a Twitter user identified as Nimrod (@GhenhisKhan), a friend of his was fired from her job for refusing to distribute expired drinks.

Nimrod has also called for the help of consumer protection organisations in Nigeria to help with the case.

The young man also admitted that his friend who was fired has refused to disclose the name of the drink because she might need their referral to get another job.

Thankfully, the Nigerian consumers council has waded into the issue and promised to take necessary actions. See their tweet below:

Just recently, Legit.ng reported that Akwa Ibom Airline reportedly sacked an employee for supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Premium Times reports that the employee was just employed for seven days as a catering handler before he was sacked.

Utomette was paid one month salary after his employment termination which was initiated following his Facebook post expressing support for the APC.
