Liverpool players have been rewarded a customized 24k gold-plated iPhone X following their Champions League exploits.

Liverpool enjoyed an arguably spectacular campaign in the just concluded 2018/19 season, missing out on the Premier League title to Man City by just a point.

At the continental stage, the Jurgen Klopp-tutored side were also no pushovers as they enjoyed an impressive run to the finals of the Champions League.

They went on to stun English rivals, Tottenham, 2-0 at the Wanda Metropolitano on Saturday, June 1, to lift their sixth UEFA Champions League title.

The players' triumph has now seen them gifted with glitzy iPhone X handsets personalised with the name and squad number of each player.

The gadgets are also complete with the Champions League and Madrid final logos.

According to iDesignGold website, the products cost between £2,300 and £3,500.

Liverpool players now join a host of other sports personalities including Lionel Messi, Kevin De Bruyne, Benjamin Mendy, Tyson Fury and Conor McGregor to own the bespoke devices.

Earlier, had reported how Premier League giants Liverpool released total of nine players which include the duo of Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno ahead of next season's football campaign.

Goalkeeper Adam Bogdan was also asked to leave the club by manager Jurgen Klopp who is trying to bolster his squad so as to challenge for EPL title next term.
