Joining the list of disturbing stories about police brutality and extra-judiciary killings, is yet another heartbreaking story of how some police officers allegedly killed an about-to-wed man recently in Ondo state.
Facebook user, Precious Chinonso Ashiegbu, recently left many people shocked and others outraged after he took to the platform to narrate how a man was allegedly pushed in front of a moving move by some police officers he refused to give bribe.
According to Ashiegbu who was in the traveling bus, the police arrested after which some community members came to the police station to burn the driver. Another tragedy would have occured save for the intervention of an eye witness who claimed to have seen what really happened at the accident scene.
Meanwhile, a social media user identified as Oluwasegun Haziz, has now taken to popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to recount his personal experience with the head of the police unit, who is popularly known as Omo Eko.
According to Haziz, his encounter with the officer had all started when a member of his team rushed back to their office, bearing the news that their colleague had been picked up by the officers of the law around Queens street, in the Yaba area of Lagos, when he was returning from a lunch break.
