Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is reportedly at loggerhead with his employers over the status of Brazil youngster Vinicius Jr.

The Frenchman wants to send the 18-year-old on loan for the 2019-20 campaign, but that will be contrary to the plans Los Blancos chiefs have for the attacker.

Vinicius scored just two goals in 18 La Liga appearances last season as the Bernabeu outfit finished third behind Barcelona and Atletico Madrid on the table.

SunSport however reports that a number of Spanish League sides including Rayo Vallecano, Valladolid, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Leganes, Girona and Espanyol are keen on signing the attacker.

Also, Ligue 1 side Nantes and Italian outfit Udinese have also shown interest in securing the striker's services for the coming league season.

The publication claims Real's board aren't satisfied with the way Zidane handled with Vinicius' return from injury.

Having being cleared to return to action by the club's medical team on April 21, the Frenchman refused to include him in his squad.

And the 18-year-old was left out of his side's games against Getafe and Rayo Vallecano, before playing limited minutes in the next three matches.

Vinícius Júnior's limited playing time in the out-gone season also cost him a spot in the Brazilian squad for the 2019 Copa America tourney on home soil.

The Sun further revealed that Perez has all-but ruled out a loan deal for Vinicius, but might give in to Zidane's demands.

Vinicius scored four times in 31 games in all competitions last season, but did impress when given the opportunity.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Vinicius Junior has revealed that he was close to signing for Barcelona rather than his present club, Real Madrid.

The Brazilian youngster has proven to be one of the few positives in the Madrid side this season, who got knocked out of the Champions League and are currently struggling in La Liga.

However, the 18-year-old has scored seven goals and provided 13 assists in 33 matches in all competitions for Los Blancos.
