Following the story of how Nigerian dancehall singer Peruzzi physically assaulted social media influencer, Pamilerin, the singer has come out to apologize for his behavior.
In a tweet, he tender his apology to Pamilerin and the general public, stating that he let his feelings get the best of him and promised never to get into such a 'mess' again.
He wrote: "I did very wrong for yesterday slapping mr pamilerin, let my feelings get the best of me and I am very sorry. Apologies to mr pamilerin and also to the general public. I’d never get into such mess again. Love Only, I promise. ❤️"
Following his apology, several Twitter users reacted to his post, with many commending him for doing the right thing.

His apology comes barely five minutes after his music boss and fellow singer, Davido apologized to Pamilerin on his behalf.
In a tweet, Davido tendered an apology to Pamilerin, stating that Peruzzi was wrong for doing what he did. Davido however stated that people need to realize that artistes are human beings and Pamilerin's words online were harsh.
Meanwhile, joining many Nigerians to speak on the issue is senior police officer, Abayomi Shogunle who had some pretty interesting thing to say. He hinted on the possibility of Pamilerin getting some compensation for the slap he received.
