Depay has now opened up over his harrowing experience at Manchester United criticizing both Van Gaal and Mourinho’s tactics.

“I was convinced I could add something that wasn’t there yet. Creativity. Boldness. Moves.

“Manchester United is one of the biggest clubs in the world. In name. But for years, they played football that put you to sleep,'' Depay explained according to report on UK Sun.

The 25-year-old forward also explained how Van Gaal frustrated him at Old Trafford because he refused to adhere to his advise by getting a mental coach.

''Van Gaal kept on saying that I needed to talk to that mental coach. It would benefit my focus and concentration level, he said.

“But I didn’t feel like talking to a stranger, also because I had my own mental coach since I was 12 already,'' he said.
