Super Eagles were held to a barren draw by Zimbabwe in their penultimate friendly match before the start of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tourney in Egypt this month.

Nigeria's technical adviser started some of the players who didn't have enough playing time at their various clubs during the outgone season.

However, it wasn't too good for them as they were unable to find the back of the net, while other chances created by the attackers were wasted.

Gernot Rohr and his men will now battle Senegal in their next friendly match before finally getting their AFCON 2019 campaign off to a start against Burundi later this month.

Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen and Henry Onyekuru all had a taste of the encounter while Paul Onuachu got another start in the meeting.

Goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi was in goal all through the game and he kept a clean sheet but was on holidays for most part of the clash
