Pathetic story of blind old man and his son who live in a sorry state (video)

-A Facebook user has called on well-meaning Nigerians to come to the aid of a bling man and his son

-The lady visited the man with her friend and lamented the poor living condition

-She noted that his pressing need at the moment is an accommodation

A social media user identified as Eunice Ugonwa placed a cry for help on social media on behalf of a visually impaired man and his son, who are both living in what could be best described as a worrisome condition.

According to Ugonwa who disclosed that she visited him along with a friend, the old man revealed that he could not sleep some nights ago because the same room that serves as his shop and living apartment was flooded by rain.

She said he also made her understand that he would never resort to begging alms because of his condition, adding that, the rest of his family members have been forced to remain in the village because of the lack of proper accommodation.

"Today I visited the blind man again with my friend chima and what we saw left us sighing and almost crying. Do you know that this man sleeps in this place with his son. He told us that last night he couldn't sleep because of flood that entered his house/shop. His family is in the village because of accommodation problem. He said he can never beg when he can do something with his hands." she said.

Speaking further about her encounter with the man, Ugonwa said he shared with her that a good Samaritan bought him a grinding machine with an agreement that he would be paying a N10,000 monthly installment.

Ugonwa, however, pointed out that the man’s pressing need at the moment is an accommodation and a more convenient work space. See her post below:
