EKSU student tries taking own life after failing in one of his courses (photo)

Getting an education is one of the important steps for individuals in a society and many students struggle to graduate with good grades.

Some students do not know how to handle school pressure and this can lead to very tragic events.

Legit.ng has gathered the report of a young university student who attempted to take his own life.

According to Lere Olayinka on Facebook, an unnamed final year accounting student of Ekiti state university (EKSU) tried to kill himself after failing one of his courses.

Olayinka further revealed that the student was rushed to the teaching hospital at Ad0-Ekiti where he is currently battling for his life.

He wrote: “A final year Accounting student of Ekiti State University who was involved in the mass failure in one of the courses attempted su*cide late yesterday.

He was rushed to the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), Ado Ekiti where doctors are now battling for his life.”

Just recently, Legit.ng reported that a final year UNN student dropped an emotional note before taking his own life.

Chukwuemeka Akachi, a final year English student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka killed himself after losing a prolong battle with mental illness.

Akachi, who was a poet, wrote two su*cide notes on his Facebook page few hours before he took the poison that led to his death on May 13, 2019.
