Star musician Yinka Ayefele speaks on welcoming triplets with wife

Nigerian star gospel musician, Yinka Ayefele, has reacted to report circulating online that he welcomed a set of triplets with his wife, Temitope.

Report had earlier surfaced that Ayefele's wife gave birth to the triplet in the United States of America. Ayefele and Temitope who have been happily married for 19 years were said to have been blessed with all that most couples pray for, including their recently birthed triplets whom reports had claimed are doing well and are 100 percent healthy alongside the mother.

However, Ayefele has dispelled the news and asked his fans to ignore all news about his wife welcoming triplets.

In a post shared on his Instagram, the singer told his fans to not heed to the rumour. According to the musician, the photo was taken seven years ago.

Sometime back, Legit.ng reported the news of how the popular Music House owned by the singer was demolished by the Oyo state government. The building which is located along Challenge Toll Gate Express Way houses Ayefele’s radio station, Fresh FM, Ibadan.

Following backlash and criticisms, the Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi, built back famous music house and the singer took to social media to thank him.

In his statement of gratitude to Governor Ajimobi, Ayefele said: “We say a big thank you to our father, a great leader, a great example to this generation and to also appreciate the good people working the governor especially the committee constituted that worked on the partial demolition of Music House.

“On a compassionate ground, His Excellency helped me personally because I have been down emotionally since the incident but I thank God for a day like this that God through His Excellency, has wiped away my sorrow.”
