Dental school student takes own life, reportedly planned it days before

- The young lady who was a student of Federal School of Dental Technology and Therapy, reportedly took her own life

- According to conversation shared by her friend, she had planned it a week before

The growing rate of people taking their own lives has become a thing of worry in Nigeria. Joining the disturbing number is a young lady identified as Perpetual Onoh who recently took her own life.

The young lady who was a student of Federal School of Dental Technology and Therapy in Enugu, was said to have given out her clothes and formatted her phone before ingesting a popular rat poison.

In a conversation shared online, a friend of Perpetual revealed she had started acting strange a week before the tragic incidence and had even challenged her fellowship members to provide proof that taking one's life was a sin.

The post reads: "Yesterday, a student of dental school transekulu,committed s*icide. Girl shared her clothes and belongings to people & formatted her phone. Heard she told her frds and fellowship members that she wants to die.She kukuma asked 4 biblical proofs that s*icide is a sin."

While Patience had made a decision to end her life for reasons yet to be discovered, a final year Accounting student identified as Chiwendu Ebenezer however, was robbed of a choice in that matter.

She was recently killed by a trailer. According to reports, the accident occurred as a result of brake failure on the trailer.

Chiwendu who went by the name @wendyebenezer on Instagram, was rushed to the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (OAUTH) where she was confirmed dead.
