Nigerian writer Lola Shoneyin reacts to billionaire Cosmas Maduka preaching on the streets

- One of Nigeria’s billionaires, Cosmas Maduka, was spotted preaching on the streets

- Several people on social media were impressed that such a wealthy man could preach the gospel in such manner

- However, popular writer, Lola Shoneyin has described the act as noise pollution

In many parts of the world, rich and influential people are known to behave a certain way. Many of them refrain from doing things other regular individuals do.

However, Nigerian billionaire, Cosmas Maduka, impressed many with his show of faith as he was spotted preaching the gospel on the streets like a roadside pastor.

The CEO of Cosharis Motors was seen brandishing a bible and a microphone on the street as another man helped him interpret his statements in Yoruba.

This act of his earned him the praise of several Nigerians on social media. However, not everybody was impressed.

Popular Nigerian author, Lola Shoneyin, reacted to the viral video of the billionaire preaching and she described the act as noise pollution.

According to her, whether such act comes from a billionaire on a bus boy, noise pollution is still a huge problem in Nigeria. See her tweet below:
