Promising Ajax wonderkid Dillon Hoogewerf has confirmed completion of his summer move to Manchester United.
Hoogewerf has been a long-time target for United, with Ajax announcing in May they were set to part ways with the forward in May.
The 16-year-old was regarded one of the standout performers in Ajax's academy last season where he scored 10 goals and set up six others.
He announced his move to Old Trafford on his Instagram page on Saturday, June 1, in a foretelling video .
The short footage has the striker sporting an Ajax jersey before ending with him wearing a United kit with the Red Devils anthem "Take Me Home United Road" playing in the background.
The Premier League giants are expected to pay an undisclosed compensation fee for the youngster's services.
Hoogewerf becomes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first signing at United but is expected to start his career with the club's reserve team.
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Jose Mourinho has dismissed suffering any setback following his sack by Man United last December.
The Portuguese manager was sent packing by Old Trafford chiefs after falling 19 points adrift of then-league leaders Liverpool, despite splashing out about £400m on signing 11 players during his three-year stay at the club.
According to the Daily Mail citing Eleven Sports, Mourinho waved off submission that United exit had lasting impact on him, stressing he didn't need time to recover after being sacked - although he admitted he is trying to 'reformulate' himself as he awaits new job.
