Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola also known as Naira Marley, has finally been granted bail after spending 10 days in prison custody.
The singer was granted bail in the sum of N2 million with landed properties in Lagos as sureties.
According to The Guardian, the presiding judge at the Federal High Court sitting, Justice Nicholas Onweibo, said that the first surety must be a civil servant not below the grade 10 level while the second surety must have a landed property in a jurisdiction approved by the court.
This was done during Marley's second court hearing on May 30, 2019. The court hearing was also adjourned till October 22, 23 and 24 after the court's annual vacation.
Though the Issa Goal singer has been granted bail, he is to remain in prison till he meets his bail conditions.
Despite still being in custody, friends, family members and well-wishers of the singer were seen jubilating in court after the hearing.

Marley was arrested alongside singer Zlatan Ibile and others by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) on May 10, 2019, for allegations bordering on cyber crime and advance fee fraud.
It all started when popular singer, Simi, discouraged Yahoo boys from listening to her music. Then Marley took it upon himself to call the singer out as well as praise Yahoo boys.
On one of his Instagram Live videos, Marley urged Nigerians to pray for Yahoo boys because they make money circulate and not the politicians.
