Arsenal supporters have slammed German defender Shkodran Mustafi scoring an own goal during a training session.
The Gunners battle fellow Premier League club Chelsea in the final of this season's Europa League competition in Baku, Azerbaijan later this evening.
Mustafi was captured in the footage that was shared on the club's YouTube channel showing Mustafi finding the wrong target.
In the clip, squad members can be seen running a training match between the team-mates.
One of teams, wearing bibs gets on the attack through Mohamed Elneny, but the ball is lost after Alexander Lacazette attempting a shot.
The missed chance sees the other team charge forward through Danny Welbeck, who finds Matteo Guendozi on the right.
The midfielder sends the ball into the middle, and Mustafi, who is clearly in panic makes frantic runs backwards.
Thankfully, he reaches the ball ahead of his attacker, but directs it into his own net, beating Petr Cech who was in goal.
The footage has since gained a lot of traction, with Arsenal fans openly expressing their disapproval of Mustafi's defending.
One of the supporter posed: "What is wrong with this dude?" Another concluded: "Liability."
A third warned: "If Mustafi starts, we'll be playing with 10 men and one burden."
The German international has not been in good books with club fans, with one back in April initiating a petition to have Mustafi handed a life imprisonment after parading a poor performance against Crystal Palace.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Arsenal fans have jokingly begged Unai Emery to leave Shkodran Mustafi and Mohamed Elneny out of his squad that will face Chelsea in the final of the Europa League final this month.
The Gunners beat Spanish League side Valencia 7-2 on aggregate to book their ticket for the final of the UEFA second tier championship.
Having won the first leg of the fixture 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium a week ago, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang produced an impressive performance for the north Londoners in Spain on Thursday.
